On payment for the Gift Card, you (the buyer) will be issued with a code  which can be printed & enclosed in a card, or emailed to the intended recipient.

As they are a form of payment, they can be used in conjunction with promotional offers

They can be used more than once, providing that there's a remaining balance on the card. Organic Secrets Gift Cards are valid for 12 months from issue.
