Brownies are a great introduction to the potential benefits of taking CBD. Not only cost-wise, but they taste delicious too!
We started baking our Award-Winning* CBD Brownies over four years ago, in response to customers telling us that they'd like an alternative, more pleasant tasting alternative to oils. And of course, Vickie - one of our co-founders and brownie baker is also the owner of a successful wedding and celebration cake business - so we were perfectly placed to offer CBD brownies as an important product in our range.
Are CBD Brownies strong?
If you've ever experienced the effects of THC-infused brownies (maybe on a trip to Amsterdam🙈), you'll notice that CBD brownies are not 'strong' in the same way.
Our brownies contain a broad-spectrum CBD (cannabidiol),which is a non-psychoactive compound found in the cannabis plant, and it does not produce the same "high" or intoxicating effects as the more well-know cannabinoid THC (tetrahydrocannabinol).
Each of Organic Secrets CBD Brownies contains 20mg CBD, which is a reasonable dose. Of course if you don't want to take 20mg all at once, just cut up your brownie! They'll stay fresh for 7-10 days in an airtight container.
How do CBD brownies make you feel?
We can't make medical claims about CBD, but when our customers consume a CBD brownie, the tell us that they may feel relaxed, have reduced anxiety, improved sleep, and relief from aches and pains. However, not everyone may experience noticeable effects, and it's important to note that the effectiveness of CBD varies from person to person and according to the quality of the CBD product used in the brownie.
When consuming CBD-infused brownies or any other CBD products, it's advisable to start with a low dose and gradually increase it if necessary. If you're new to CBD, it's recommended to consult with a healthcare professional before trying CBD products, especially if you have any underlying health conditions or are taking other medications.
